highlight selected element in other view?

when i select an element in plan view it doesn't select in elevation ..., can someone tell me how to fix this please ?

Put the view in wireframe?

Increase the Far Clip?

When you select elements in a view, stay in a single view (not Tile views) then ctrl+tab to change to the other views. The elements should be still selected.

Are you wanting to see it selected in the other view? That's what I thought you meant. I believe it is selected, but you just don't see it selected in the other view.  It should remain selected if you activate that view while the element is still selected in the other view. If not, right-click and press "Select Previous".
