hide certain levels in ALL section views without hiding them manually

I built a model out of some 12-year old architectural (shell only) and structural models. I basically linked those models and " bound" them to be part of my current model I did that because I had to correct the old models and they are orphaned by now. I had to manually build all the interior.

What I didn't realize is that they also added levels for plenums etc. I know this is bad practice... but I don't want to just delete those levels since I don't know if anything that was built based on those will be deleted along with those levels.

Is there a way to " hide" specific levels in all views? So they still exist, but are not visible anywhere?

My best idea so far is to apply project parameter to levels, and filter based on that. but that requires me to add filters to all my view templates for just this one project. Or manually " hide" those levels in each view.

Is there something simpler?

You may be able to delete those levels. Revit will warn you if there are elements associated with them as you delete them.

If deleting them does delete elements, it might be worth changing the associated level for those elements to one that will remain.

Beyond that, if you are in a workshared model, you could assign the plenum levels to a workset and set the workset to not be visible in all views. If you are not in a workshared model, you will need to filter by a parameter that works well for you.

Create a new workset and put all the existing levels/grids or whatever else on that workset and uncheck the visible in all views for that workset.

Thanks. That works nicely.

I tried the " deleting" , but it warned me of elements being deleted and I didn't want to deal with (or risk) re-assigning those elements to other levels.

Edit: Oh it now says it became a central model. I'm not work-sharing. is there a way to use worksets and NOT work-sharing (ie..e creating a central model)?
