HELP with uneven ceiling tiles

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi I have attached a small layout of a ceiling that I am trying to configure using Revit 2020.2  I've been able to draw a reflected ceiling plan in the model, however, I haven't a clue as to how to create a ceiling grid that is uneven.

I've not been using revit for long so the simpler the instruction the better! 🙂

Thanks

Use a model pattern, you could easily make one with PyRevit plugin or some other plugin.

Are the ACT panels actually 540x1470 and 320x1470?

That's what they measured on site! So this is the size to use.

Model Pattern would be the easiest, but you could model the ceiling using Slope Glazing (Mullions for Framing and Curtain Wall Panels for ACT Panels).  Might be a little much if this is an as-built though.

...of course, your lights would need to be Face-Based, not Ceiling-Based if you went this route..

...do a shout out to the forum for a model hatch pattern. You don't need any software. Just need a *.pat file.
