Help With Complex Mass Shape

Hello!

I am having quite the struggle in terms of making a very complex mass shape.

I am trying to design this:

It's a very unusual shape, however I can't seem to figure out a way to make this! If anyone could help me out with this that would be amazing!

if it is , have a look at this screencast (a void form needs to be added):

I have followed your screen cast and it worked perfectly!

However, o you know of any way to lower the top tip to spiral down into itself?

Thanks!

if you mean the void that penetrates from above ,  some thing like this:Image 1.png

then have a look at the following screencast:

Of course that you can use Wall by Face but the shell will be even and too rigid. So I'll propose to make a hole by using Void as follows:

  • when you appreciate the exterior Form fits your purpose, select the Element and Copy it to clipboard.
  • then Paste it into the Same Place , creating so an other instance of the Form Element .
  • select the new created instance an scale the Profiles as you need to
  • turn the second Form into a Void to cut the first Form
