Help with Area Schedule

Hello, I need help creating an area breakdown schedule for a project I'm working on. The image below is what I'm trying to accomplish, right now this schedule only has the SF in just text that I would have to manually add. Is there a way to have areas be divided into different categories automatically (retail, resident, amenity, etc?).

Yes, if you enter something in a parameter of each Area item, such as in "Department". Then you can sort your schedule by levels then by department. The appearance will be different than in your sample image.

Yes. You would add a set of yes no parameter for the type of use, and a set of calculated value parameters to show the value when the yn conditions are met.

Thank you. I created the yes/no parameters for each use, how can I create the calculated value parameter?

Add Calculated Value Parameter:

- name = AMENITY AREA

- type = Area

- formula: if (AMENITY, Area, 0)

Repeat for all others.

Thank you! I still seem to be having problems with the formula, I'm getting error messages when I put the commas, and when I delete them:

Hi,

Use exactly this formula:

if(AMENITY, Area, 0)

You have to go to formatting and set the calculated value as count total.

You also have to check the boxes in the schedule in order to get a value. They are probably greyed out for now.
