In short:
- start with an "Curtain Panel Pattern Based"
- create a curtain panel family
- start a mass, create the surface, divide the surface, apply the new curtain panel.
- import into your project.
End up with something like this.
Like I said, not an easy thing to explain. Here's this example if you want to dig into it, but without knowing the principles it's probably not much help.

Oh, and there is a real possibility I'm massively over-complicating this. You could also go with the first approach of regular curtain panel and wall, and jsut add several more void forms in panel family to create the shell.
