Having problem creating adaptive components

Hi there, can someone tell me how to create adaptive components in generic adaptive model?

The reference line I created doesn't have dots on both ends, if I added reference points and make them adaptive, the reference line is still not adaptive, which couldn't move along with the adaptive points.

Hi Jinchit, 

I suspect that the "3D Snapping" checkbox in the options bar is deselected. When enabled, an association is created between the adaptive points and the reference lines.

A proven workflow is drop 2 points in, make then adaptive, then select the points and create a spline through points.
