Hatch Pattern orientation changing while zooming

Hi all guys, I could use your help here.

Do you know how come that my material pattern changes orientation depending on the zoom level?

It's just an issue with your graphics card/monitor.  Not a big deal.

Now if the pattern keeps changing totally....did someone use a drafting pattern vs a model pattern.

My suspicion is that the floor is compound layered and the top surface layer is very, very thin.  In other words, you're seeing the hatch surface pattern for the layer below the top surface pattern at a certain zoom distance.

That is a Revit glitch.  When you zoom out far enough you see the framing below the floor.

...that's pretty much what I'm referring to. But, it only happens if the element above is very thin. For instance, we see this with 1/2" sheathing layers on top of framing.

The thickness certainly contributes to how far you can zoom out.  With a 1/2" thickness you don't have to zoom out very far to get the glitch.  With a 12" you can still get it if you zoom out far enough.

Test a PDF final sheet, if you are getting a different hatch pattern then you need

double solution...

one for prints, and one for screen...

It is the pattern of the metal frame I put beneath the wooden floor. 

I should have realized that myself without bothering you guys, sorry!
