I've been trying find a solution to this for hours, my gross building area WILL NOT calculate. I'm attaching a copy of my revit file as previous responses were not helpful.

You don't have any Areas.

Here's how to create an Area Plan:

Hi Barth, yes I'm aware I don't have an area plan that's what I'm trying to create. I have no idea how you were able to create it on your end as I've literally been doing the same steps you linked and it's not working for me. Could you please walk me through what you did? I'm new to revit and I keep getting very general advice on this issue, I literally do not know what step I'm messing up.

Follow the instructions in the Link I provided, or Google for Videos on the subject.

I have done all of that, I've already watched multiple videos and googled my issue 50 different ways. I came here as a last ditch effort but it's clear to me that the consultants here are purposely being condescending. I was genuinely asking for help so that I could understand the issue that I'm having, not asking you to complete my project for me. You were obviously able to figure out something I haven't from your screenshot, so it's weird to me that you're skirting around the solution. But whatever, I give up.

My preferred pronouns are "He, Him and His".  I don't wear skirts.

You know, talking to people like that will get you nowhere, so good luck getting there.

Bon Voyage.

Apparently your knowledge starts and ends at Revit if you're actually being serious. Or your just a troll in addition to being terrible at actually helping people. Not like you provided any helpful info to begin with so you certainly won't be missed. BYE WIG.
