Can't put door on exterior wall

I believe my model may be corrupt. I have tried to place a door on an exterior wall and get several error message. I've tried placed several different family types and tried placing it in multiple views (elevation, plan, 3d) and in multiple different exterior walls. I can place doors on interior walls with no issue. I've attached the error message I get when trying to place the door. I've also made sure my Revit software is updated.

Post the Family. Looks like it needs help.

It is happening to all my doors and windows including the ones from the revit Library.

Does it happen in EVERY Project or just one?  If just one, then post that Project here so we can examine.  Otherwise, it's just a guessing game.

It is happening on every project. 

I did install new RAM on my computer yesterday. I'm not sure if it is linked to that.

That's a nugget of troubleshooting information.  Go with it. I would start there.  It's a logical assumption.

Does the error NOT happen at all before the new RAM?
