I'm researching laptops for mainly Revit and AutoCad, most of the laptops suggested to me have the Quadro T1200, but manufacturers (HP, Dell, etc.) have an "upgrade" option for the RTX A2000.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these GPU's and if the A2000 is suitable (or actually an upgrade) for Revit use...
It will run on both...if your budget allows for the upgrade, get it
User satisfaction is relative...especially when it comes to performance and graphics...On my laptop I have a Quadro RTX 6000 mobile GPU and I find it barely sufficient. Others are happy with a GTX 1060 or 2080
Autodesk has their own recommendation ... https://knowledge.autodesk.com/certified-graphics-hardware ... However, regardless of what is listed on this link/site, it is not a guarantee that such GPUs will run flawlessly.

Nvidia has started phasing out the Quadro name in favour of RTX. so it's more a case of last years model vs this years. If you're specifically asking about Revit, then it won't matter which one you get as long as they meet the recommended spec's because Revit uses the CPU to do most of the work.
