Global Parameters

I need help disassociating global parameters. When I select a component and try to edit the material from the properties tab a pop up comes up saying Associate Global Parameter and my only option is to keep it on "none" and click okay. It happens with every file, component, and every project in my Revit 2017.

Go to Manage > Global Parameters and Delete.

There is nothing to delete in the pop up box when i go to the manage > global parameters box. Any other suggestions?

You are inadvertently associating a global parameter. You are clicking too far to the right which is the "associate global paramter" button. Click inside the material cell, 3 dots will show to change the material.
