Geolocated cad file with point cloud

Good morning,,
I was hoping you could help me out with a small problem that I have.

My client sent me a point cloud file, and a DWG file, a file with the point cloud linked in. 
Now, the DWG file is geolocated but the point cloud is not. 
is there a way to link the point cloud in Revit in the exact position after acquiring the coordinate system from the dwg file?

Georeferenced? Use this method first to bring the DWG into Revit:

Then Link the PC by Auto-Shared Coordinates.  That should work.

Actually, I don't think it will work in this case.    I would definitely Link the DWG into Revit via Specify Coordinates at Point though.

Thank you so much for taking the time to investigate it; I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately, the Point cloud is not georeferenced. Therefore any "link with shared coordinates" would put it in the wrong place.

I think I found the way, even though I do not like it that much.
On the CAD file, which has global coordinates (WGS84), I can select the point cloud, and I can see the coordinates (distance of the PC origin from the Autocad file Origin).
Now I link the DWG and acquire the coordinates.
Then I link the Point Cloud with "shared coordinates."

This will bring the point cloud to the wrong spot, of course, but I know how to move it because I have the coordinates (distance from the survey point).

Any comments?

Like I said before, I would bring the Geolocated DWG into Revit via Specify Coordinates at Point - not by positioning the DWG in Revit and Acquiring Coordinates.

Yup I saw that 

but if I specify the coordinates I have the numbers but not the coordinate system 😉

Huh? What does this mean?  "I have the numbers but not the coordinate system"

- Insert the PC in the geo CAD file

- Draw a Cross1 at the point cloud origin in AutoCAD

- Move the PC to align with CAD and copy the Cross1 with it to create Cross2, save

- Link the Geo CAD in Revit center to center

- Link the PC in Revit center to center

- Move the PC in Revit from Cross1 to Cross 2

- Acquire coordinates from CAD

Oh sorry, I realise that was a built vague. Let me elaborate a little bit.

Using “coordinates at point” I can set the position of the survey point but I can not set the name of the coordinate system. It is just an XYZ point. If you interrogate revit about that, you will see:
Coordinate system = Unknown

I am used to set the coordinate system correctly in Civil3D (in this case UTM33 North - WGS84), and push it in Revit when I acquire coordinates.
Using Acquire Coordinates you will see the coordinate system used in the properties.

That's because you didn't Link the DWG into Revit via Auto-Shared Coordinates afterwards.
