gap between panel and mullion

Hi all,

I want to give a gap of 15 mm between the curtain panel mullion. how can I create it? I created a family that included glass and the mullion with a gap but it acts as a single-family so I didn't get the exact schedule. could you please help me to find this

We work in actual architecture offices, every day. I, like the OP, have a good reason why I'd like the mullion to have a 1/2" gap at the rough opening. We seasoned architects and designers don't need a reminder that something (sealant, backer rod, etc) will ultimately be placed in that gap.

So if you don't have an answer to our question, consider not contributing at all. Or try this, "Sorry, there's no way to do that in Revit. We'll take note and add that to the next version." That would be better than gaslighting us in our own areas of expertise.

Maybe Autodesk can replace the condescending explainers with Chat GPT? That would probably eliminate the ocean on non-sequiturs in these threads- not to mention be a better data collection tool for the developers.

Wow! That was kind of harsh and uncalled for. Are you having a bad day?  Need a hug? Here you go...

Betcha Chat GPT can't be that nurturing.

Hope you have a better day.

What's uncalled for is wasting everyone's time with your pointless
misdirection. The cost of revit is 4x my gym membership. It's about equal
to a car payment on a Toyota Corolla.

I have every right to ask that the threads be clean, and to the point. I
deserve to get answers from actual practicing architects or those who've at
least passed the ARE- not professional 'splainers who are incentivized to
click 'solved' even though no solution has been offered. I shouldn't have
to sort through threads that are sometimes *decades old* to find a succinct
answer that may not even be there. Above all, I shouldn't be mocked. I'm
the customer here. Only a monopolistic company could collect such large
sums of money despite offering only teeny-tiny
improvements year-to-year, and allowing s&*t-posters to belittle its paying
customers.

Thanks, I see that. A rambling, no screenshot, half explanation.... which
eventually led to a grainy gif. A gif! In 2023! And I had to sort through a
dozen meaningless posts, and intentional misdirections, just to get there.

Wow thanks. I'm really getting my $4k/year's worth here for a software that
hasn't meaningfully improved in 10 years,
