I have a roof (by footprint) that's got an 18"/12" pitch on the left and right and 6"/12" on the top and bottom. It doesn't look like the corners are blending cleanly and I can't figure out why or how to fix it. Any suggestions?
looks like you have given the sketch line on that side a slight negative plate offset ("Offset From Roof Base").
...post the file. We'll figure it out.
I have faced this so many times..its a very common issue..
one way is to simply recreate the roof .. from scratch...dont even use existing profile copy/paste..
just recreate brand new... ( can't insist you more on this "
am sure it will get fixed..
The reason that problem occurs at the firs place is because of
1. one of the angles is different... (
2. Align Eaves tries to align all side eaves and disturbs the entire roof.
3. once the roof gets affected by " align eaves" then it seems a tough task to just reset the roof..
best luck
Interesting @Corsten.Au. The only way I can make my 18/12 and 6/12 hip roof look like the OP's picture, is via Plate Offset from Base.
It’s just few steps while creating roof which breaks its
1. Roof by picking walls
2. Removing one angle from on edge
3. Getting that edge back to some other angle
4. Align eaves
5. Roof profile, if moved then it’s fine but offsetting it with some different angle creates that problem..
there are are so many permutations combination and not sure how to replicate that problem..

You can replicate it all day long and twice on Sunday by offsetting the plate height on one side. Here's a closer look at the condition I showed above using a -9" Offset from Roof Base: Without the offset, eaves align fine.
