Fusion of two Models coming from the same project template with Revit

Hi,

Hello, I am currently on the creation of a project template with Revit 2017 useful for the realization of digital mockups later. The models will be made by several Design Offices on different sites but locally. My concern is with the fusion of these models.

For the fusion of the models I would like to proceed by the attachment of the links as well explains the following link:

https://www.aplicit.com/fusionner-2-projet-revit-1-seul/

Using this method,

1: what are the possible problems that may occur when merging models from the template to propose.

2: What information can be lost when implementing this method?

This in order to make good choices as to the definition of the mode of fusion to present.

Looking forward to your answers, please have a good day.

Thank you.

1. What is the nature of your project?

2. What are the models developed by different Design Offices?  Different portions of the project?  Different Design options of the project?  Different disciplines of the project?  This is critical to judge whether or not merging (fusing) them into one a good choice.

As for the consequences of merging different models in to one, below are some of them that pop up:

- Phase settings will be lost.  Everything will come in as one Phase.

- Views, sheets, schedules, legends will be lost.  Only the model comes in.

- Materials will be overridden by the host's if they share the same names.

Hi @ToanDN

This is the same discipline for all Design offices. The project has been divided in three parts for three enterprises. Then, each enterprise must to create his model. Afterwards, i will combine all these models in one model for transmitting to the customer.
