Furniture Sections

I'm currently working in a Furniture Set of drawings, creating legends with legends components to show all views of the families and adding all the annotations..

I need to create also sections of the elements and you can't create sections inside a legend. I want avoid to insert families in a view plan to create the sections.

The best option I have in mind is to export the sections form inside the family into CAD and then link them inside the legend. But maybe there is a better solution.

I'll appreciate your comments.

Thanks,

Valentina Savid-Frontera

Why don't you use Image Field from Schedule?

prior to this , you have to save an image from your family:

Thanks for Replying,

I don't think that's a solution because I need to create differents sections of my family and place it inside a sheet inside the same project.

It's to create a drawing set of a furniture.

Any other suggestion:

Valentina

What I have sometimes done in similar circumstances is to place those items on a separate phase. In that way it does not conflict with the rest of the project.

If you need different sections of each item you could follow with creating assemblies.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Assemblies would be a perfect solution but the families are inside a link...
