Framing Add-in

Is there a framing add-in to create 2x4 stud walls and show the framing of the walls?

• for Revit versions till 2017 you can use the free Revit Extensions that contains Modeling tools for wood:

• for higher versions of Revit  these Extensions are not available any more ....

You can use several applications as:

•      MWF ProWood:  https://strucsoftsolutions.com/mwf-pro-wood/
• or AGACAD : http://www.aga-cad.com/products/bim-solutions/wood-framing-wall

Unfortunatelly , they are not free ...

• Anyway, for Revit 2020 you can obtain from MWF ProWood the Lite version for a longer period (as you can see from my second screenshot)

MWF is awesome -- AND more expensive than Revit.

Whoa... This add-in just made up my entire Christmas list.

They are expensive indeed, but don't forget that they are Fabrication Softwares thought to make Shop Drawings by contractor's design teams...and who has the money?

We , as designers for contractual phase , we need only simplified versions of these software's...Lite versions
