I had forgotten , How to sum up two or more areas together,

so i wanted to share the result i have got from a collegue ,

To find the sum of two or more spaces, you have to use the zone tools

that exists in Analyse  > Zone

and then select as many spaces as you want to know the sum of these spaces,

If you didn't find any space, You have to insert spaces before then chose zone again and select the spaces

And Voila , you have some of the properties of these spaces

in the schedule , go to formatting tab and select the area parameter then check calculate totals
go Sorting/Grouping tab then check grand totals
this will work as you want

you are welcome
I don't think there is some thing simple than schedule and can do the required job
put if you want to calculate rooms area you can create area floor plan and do what you want

well Hazem ,if you have in the architect design the spaces inserted in the model ,

you can by selecting the zone in the Analyze tab , under Spaces & zones , you can add any spaces you want to have the sum of Areas and this way you can get the area of the spaces needed,

I think space requires to select and deselect rooms to append it to the space and it may have some problems
schedule filled automatically when you add any room
if you try it and like this way, why you are asking for another way?
