Filter Schedule with Blank Lines

I have a schedule that contains a number of blank lines. Is there a way I can filter the schedule to not show any lines that have blank fields?

If they are blank rows added using (Insert Data Row), you can delete such rows by simply selecting in schedule and hitting delete on the Ribbon.

• You will be prompted if there are elements related to these rows in the Model
• I would suggest that if prompted, cancel the delete and check what those rows are before deleting..

Blank rows could also be related to

1. Field/Parameter which has no value
2. OR blanks because user have unchecked "Itemize every Instance" and schedule has no sorting

If it is blank rows due to a filed having no value, you can simply Filter using the parameter of that field and set condition Has a Value

There are blank rows because I have 2 sets of keynotes and don't want to delete the note references that I am not using, hence wanting to filter out blank lines. Filtering by value doesn't seem to work because the fields contain text.

1. Did you try to filter by sheet?
2. Do you mean that you have Key Value with Blank Keynote Text? Filter using Has a Value would work in such case

I am just trying to guess what is happening at your end...Would you be able to post an image...?

After I sent my original post, I realized that (duh) filter by sheet would work, and it does. However, when I filter the 'description' field below by 'has no value', everything disappears, even the fields that have text, (which are not shown in the mage).

BUT....Filtering 'description' by 'is greater than' 0 does filter out all blank lines.

Glad the filter per sheet worked for you ...can mark that as solution 🙂

At my end I can filter using text values...not sure what is in your Keynotes legend which the filter is unable to pick up. But you shouldn't need that since you already ticked the sheet filter
