FATAL ERROR

I was practicing doing 'massing' and I was just about to add layers or "levels" to my building but whenever I try to do so, the message "fatal error occurred... blah blah... terminated..would you like to save a recovery file.. blah blah" shows and revit would close. I tried saving a recovery file but it won't open whenever I open it. also, I've already tried restarting my laptop in hopes that maybe it would work but to no avail it still doesn't. It's getting frustrating because I have a project due tomorrow. I hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance! 🙂

Hi @triciadones

To audit a model

  1. Close the model, if it is already open.

If the model is work-shared, instruct all users to exit the model.

  2. In Revit, click Open (Project).
  3. In the Open dialog, do the following:
    1. Navigate to the folder where the model resides, and select it.

For a workshared model, navigate to and select the central model.

    2. Select the Audit option.
    3. Click OK.
  4. When the Audit process completes, save changes to the model.

Let me know if this helps resolve your issue.

Regards,
