Cuts with Voids When Loaded?  

Are you cutting a Host in the Family? In other words, is your Family Face-Based and the Void is cutting through the Face Host in the Family?

Looks to me like the Void is attached in the Family. Uncut it to un-attach it (e.g. make it orange).  Reload and cut Roof with it.
