Family parameter doesn't work in the model

Hi, 

I have a dimension type parameter which actually works in the family, but once I loaded in the model it doesn't work anymore. It's a parameter (diameter) associated in a nested family (height).

Appreciate any assistance given.

Have you looked at the family? It's NOT parametric.  It's a bunch of 2D linework. That "height" parameter controls nothing.  It's only a label.
