Family Corruption in Revit 2020.2 | Revit Update 2020.2.1 now available

A message from the The Revit Team:

To our valued customers,

We are writing to notify you of the release of Revit update 2020.2.1 now available in Autodesk Accounts and the Autodesk Desktop App.

The update includes a fix to a data corruption issue identified in Revit 2020.2 affecting a small percentage of customers. The defect can cause family data to become corrupted in workshared models. It does not affect Revit 2020.1 and earlier releases.

If you have installed Revit 2020.2, we strongly recommend installing the Revit 2020.2.1 update to prevent risk of family corruption due to this defect.

Thank you for your patience and for the cooperation of all who worked to identify the problem and quickly find a fix. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,

The Revit Team
