Family Ceiling View

I have created a Kitchen Millwork family with both uppers and lower cabinets. When I look at my floor plan my uppers don't show (which is fine) but when open the Ceiling plan it is blank. The only way I can see the upper cabinets is if I look at then in elevation.

I can't see a way to adjust the view range for a family.

Is it a Casework Family?

It's the Geometry within the View Range? Is it Cut in the View Range?  Is the Geometry's Visibility Setting set so that the Geometry is Visible in Plan/RCP?

Hey, we could good on and on. There's at least 33 questions I could throw at you. Post your file here. That will make it faster and easier to troubleshoot.

You can. Just select the view in project browser and edit view range for the view properties.

To answer the first question, it was created in a generic family template.

2) I cant locate the areas where i can adjust the view range in the family editor file.

I attached the file for you to look at.

They're visible here.

FWIW: the Category is Casework.  Not Generic. The distinction is important. You'll understand why by reading the Link I provided about View Range.

One more thing. If View Range isn't under View Properties, press the View Name a second time to activate all it's Properties.
