families missing

Every time I try and add a door, window, column, room tag etc, a window pops up saying "No (rooms tag/door/window etc) family is loaded in the project. Would you like to load one now?"

this has never happened before, and when I select yes it takes me to this folder:but there are now no families whatsoever for me to choose from, its like they've all been deleted. I've been using revit for over a year and this has never happened, usually i just click on the door/window etc and it pops up in the properties box and I can then use the drop down to select which one i want. Please help!

Did you recently install the Roombook/Areabook add-in? You may need to remap your file locations. Go to File -> Options -> Folder Locations -> Places, and check your Library folder location. Depending on your Revit version, your library should be somewhere like this: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2020\Libraries\US Imperial

Thanks for your help, yes it is set up like this. I have metric, imperial
and the rooombook add-ons. Any idea how I can get my families back? Thanks

Can I also add that when I go to revit 2021 > family templates > english, the folder is empty. I have no idea why

Did you just start using 2021, or have you been on it for a while? The 2021 install doesn't automatically install the libraries, as previous versions did. Templates and family files not installed or missing in Revit or Revit LT | Revit Products | Autodesk...

I've been using it since last September. It was working fine and then one day everything just vanished. I think after I installed the roombook add on
