fail to export dwf from revit

Hi

I am trying to export dwf or dwfx of a large revit sheet (900mm*9700mm) in a high quality raster (medium quality works but is unreadable).

revit exports a large DWF file of about 35 MB, but when opening the file it is just a blank sheet.

if I export to dwfx it shows a message of "there was a problem displaying the page"

I would prefer to export the entire file in vector lines and have therefor turned off all shadows, but it still doesn't seem to work.

I have also tried to export to DWG and then create DWF from autocad, but the export to autocad doesn't show the different colors of different wall types as seen in plans on revit (for instance we have to show concrete walls in blue fill pattern and brick walls in red). so that path is not useful in my case.

this is a very urgent issue here, as all permits are obligated to be sent in dwf format.

Have you tried to turn off the element properties dialogue box to see if that works? You won't have the same intelligent information in te file but maybe it's enough to solve the problem for now?

Also, have you tried to just leave the graphics settings to "use standard format"?

Regards

Marius

Hi mariusaln, thanks for the responce.

I just tried turning off the element properties, still doesn't work...

the "use standard format" also doesn't work.

I just need it to export raster in a high quality, or export everything in vector graphics.

for now i just exported it to dwg, reorgenized the entire drawing with the right colors, and exported it through there.

still looking for a proper solution through revit though...

Hello,

Had the same problem,

it seems that DWF has max length (like PDF) while exporting from revit.

divide it to segments of about 5 meters each.

good luck
