Hi everyone

I'm about to attempt modelling of this slat-faceted bulkhead (as seen in the picture below).

what is the smartest family to use that will give me easy flexibility if I need to make changes?

How about using curtain system with mullions and empty panels? You'll need to have the surfaces modeled as mass. If you have skp or dwg files you can go to "Mass in-place" and import them, then finish the mass and create the curtain system picking those surfaces.

Hey

I'll try the Mass modelling and curtain System - it'll be my first time lol

I'm assuming you'd want me to make the slats as mullions and then put them at a fixed spacing?

Let me know if I'm right.

Thanks!

Yes definitely. For the mullions you can create a profile family with parameters so later you can freely adjust their geometry. Again, if you have the surface modeled on different software, you can bring it to Revit. There is no need to model it again within Revit.

Yes, I dont have a Sketchup or DWG. so I'm modelling straight from Revit. But it's good to know that I that option

Your legit awesome man!
Thanks!
