Extrusion not not showing in plan view

Hi all,

I'm creating a family and have added the last detail in, which is an extrusion. It's not showing up in plan view but is showing in all other views (including 3D).

I have set the visibility settings to show in plan view and I have tried to change the range of what is visible, but is still not showing in that plan view!

Simply attach the family file .RFA to your post.

 Hello:

  I'm having the same issue. I was trying to make a new window family, but the extrusion of the frame can only be seen on elevations and 3D views, not plans. Anyone know what the problem is? Attached is the file.

For window families you need to control the cut plane in the families themselves.  Sometime, it is just easier to add symbolic lines or masking region to present the windows on plan view.
