Extra Drop Down List Above Properties (glitch?)

Lately I have had a frequent issue where a drop down list (circled in the screenshot below) appears above the properties panel. The drop-down list contains all types of the current view - which is to say, it matches the normal drop down list that's immediately below it in the properties panel.

I don't know what steps reproduce the issue - it seems to happen randomly. The issue is that is covers up other controls that are normally in that area (i.e. multiple copy, multiple align, disjoin, etc.). The only way I have discovered to get rid of it is to close Revit and restart.

Has anyone else had this issue? Are there any recommendations for how to fix it?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Can you list the Add-ins that you are using with Revit?

I had Enscape and pyRevit and I didn't have the same issue.  As a test, can you disable dRofus and see if the problem goes away?

Also, right click on the blank Option bar and switch back and forth between Dock at top and Dock at bottom.

Same thing happens to me. I have to restart Revit and it goes away. But then it reappears for some unknow reason.

Anyone else?

Check your graphics card compatibility with Revit in the Options dialog. Does Revit "like" the graphics card it reports? Is there a newer driver? If a new driver was recently installed, perhaps rollback to a previous. Also do you use a Display Scale greater than 100%? There have been various graphics issues over the years with using 150% or more for the Display Scale in the PC's Display Settings. You didn't mention which version of Revit your using? This thread is actually pretty old so the issue has popped up in the past with older release...but we haven't seen much about it since until now.

I remember that there was a 'Hot fix' for this. But you can get Revit 21 on the site anymore. You will have to contact your Autodesk Rep.
