Export Model Pattern to IFC

Hi, 

is there a way to export model patterns to IFC?

For example we use custom model patterns to detail tiles on floors and walls and we later view those models in Trimble Connect in IFC format. But there is no model patterns exported.

what do you mean? pattern like material , hatch pattern ?
I think IFC can't recognize the material

I mean Fill Model Pattern. (hatch pattern)

No, IFS can't recognize the hatch pattern or material,it use the color and transparency
