Error when I load a profile family to revit model.

Hi,

I have been getting the following error when I try to load my custom made profile family into the REVIT. I have attached the following screen shot. The lines on my profile is very short.

If some one can help me that would be really appreciated.

You probably have one or more overlapping lines in the Profile Family.

Can you post the profile? it seems like there is some error, likely the profile is not a closed loop

When I increase the scale of the profile it gets loaded. Thats strange.

If your intention is to create geometry from this profile, that's a ridiculous amount of detail that won't even be legible once Thin Lines is turned OFF.  Also, minimum line length in Revit is 1/32". 

....I'm specifically referring to the teeny tiny fillets and grooves.

I have attached the RVT file for my profile. But there should be a way of incorporating such tiny details.

Once again...the minimum line length in Revit is 1/32".

There is. With 2D Detail Families. That's not your issue here.  Your issue is that you are trying to create 3D geometry from this 2D Profile Family.

Open the attached Family and see how I modeled the sweep geometry using a simplified version of your Profile Family (named Angle Profile.rfa) and how the Left/Right Side Elevations displays a very different profile that looks like your original profile with teeny tiny fillets and grooves.  That is 2D display coming from a nested Detail Family named Angle Detail.rfa. That Detail is the only thing visible in Left/Right Elevations.  The sweep geometry is hidden in the Left/Right Elevation Views via its Visibility Settings.
