Error: Stairs require no less that 2 boundaries (chains of 1 or ....

Hi,

Firstly let me say I'm fairly new to revit. I have been trying to make these ramps for a project but it constantly keeps giving me an error (shown in the attached image and the title of the post).

I have made the boundary lines and then marked out the riser lines to where the ramp starts and ends as shown in the attached image. I checked them again for gaps between the lines thinking that may have been the cause of the error but there were no discontinuities in the lines.

Hoping someone has faced this and can help me by letting me know how this can be resolved.

Thanks!

I just tested a similar sketch and it works for me.  What to post your file?

I would do it like this:

- blue lines are boundary

- red lines are risers

- black lines is the boundary of a landing made from a floor

You could also do it as a sloped floor

I tried extending the floor to make it meet the ramp in a straight line and then drew the ramp as shown below however it still gives me the same error.

Thanks!

Thanks that's what I eventually ended up doing.

However, there has to be a solution to this error. Hoping Autodesk can resolve this asap.
