Error message when importing dwg file

Hi all,

I'm trying to import a dwg file (a purchased area map) into revit LT 25 but getting the attached error message.

This is something I have done hundreds of times with no issue.

I can import other similar dwgs into the same project with no issue at all. No other problems with this particular project file.

I have created a new project, tried importing this same file but get the same error.

I've tried importing the offending dwg into other project files and get the same error.

The dwg file seems to open fine in the online autodesk dwg viewer (I do not have autocad installed).

Any thoughts gratefully received.

Addendum: the map vendor has provided a dxf as an alternative but getting the same message.

(dwg file size 697kb / dxf file size 1.92mb so neither is excessively large)

Link the file instead of Import.

Thanks ToanDN
I have tried this. No luck.
Revit does not seem to like this particular file.
I've had to convert the dwg to a tiff and imported that. Far from ideal but I need to get this drawing issued!

Copy the dwg file alone in the another directory and try first open it in autocad then import in revit!!

Thanks for your suggestion - I tried importing from various directories but without any luck.
