error in massing urgent help plz

I'm new to Revit massing find it quite complex in compare to Rhino. I'm trying design curved floor as mass but when I load it to the actual model it gives error  'Mass contains only mesh geometry, which can’t be used to compute Mass Floors, volume, or surface area.' Could you please help me out with this as I have a very short project deadline.

Seems to load fine. What is your workflow? That warning, by the way, is typical Revit speak. Don't worry about it. Just apply your materials to the surfaces of the mass.

I tried to apply floor,  it doesn't even select the mass when I apply roof and wall it doesn't make the corner bits it says ' cant make the roof or wall (as attached). I actually need the mass as a floor only.

I had the same issue applying a roof to those corners. I can apply a roof to all the other faces though.  You may need to break up the mass into several. Do it in sections.  It won't change the end look. It not going to be monolithic, because you have many surfaces.

Floors by face is meant to use only for applying to mass floors, not the surfaces of the mass form.  Mass floors are created by selecting a mass, using Mass Floor button, and ticking Level boxes.  Then, you can use Floor by face to pick the Mass floors to create Floors.

I think what you want to do is either Wall by Face or Roof by Face.

@Anonymous: A thought occurred to me. Why not just give the mass thickness and material inside the family and then load it into the project? I mean, if it's crunch-time for you, why not this workaround. You could even associate thickness and material to parameters for control within the project environment. Another workaround might be to place this Mass within an In-Place Component of the category "Floor". However, I'm not sure that would be stable. Maybe @ToanDN can weigh in with his opinion on this.  Anyways, just some thoughts.

I think that will be the solution thicken the floor in family mass and load into the project. I will let you if it works

Thank you all. I made the copy of that in massing and gave the thickness to the floor and load into the project.
