Error importing SAT file via AutoCad

Trying to import an SAT/ACIS file from Cadwork into family in Revit 2024 and keep getting this message:

"Revit cannot import some of the geometry.
This result can be caused by various issues with the source file. Adjust the geometry in the file and try the import process again."

Even the simplest of 3D geometries.

No problem dragging SAT file in directly, but would like to add layers in AutoCad to apply different materials in family. New SAT files will accept materials painted in Edit-in-place mode, but materials are not shown when edit mode is closed. For some reason, SAT files that were imported in an older version of Revit still display materials normally and can be edited as usual. They also have an option to add a subcategory, which the new SAT's do not.

This is a major impediment to my presentation workflow, so any help is appreciated.
