Embedded curtainwall hosted to wall being demo

I'm having an issue modifying this embedded curtainwall.

When you select the CW, its extents are the entire existing brick wall and profile has been reset.

When I try to delete it, it deletes the existing wall that is being demo'd.

Somehow it's joined to the existing wall, and I can't figure out how to unjoin it.

With the input you have given and not knowing how you have created these walls and the relation between them it would need one heck of a lucky guess to figure out what is going on

How about you upload the Revit file for checking? or PM a download link if you prefer not to widely share

@RDAOU , my apologies, attaching RVT v20 file with CW in question. Scratching my head how to detach that CW from the existing brick wall.

You are unable to cut/edit/move it because it is an infill hence it is has those relations. This is a generic wall which has been demolished then the infill was selected and type changed to a curtain wall. This is not ideal and is originally a workaround to NOT having and INFILL after demo

The curtain wall which was used is kinda blank considering that the types may not suit every opening...they do this to allow later for manual placement of grids and mullions depending on the opening size

If you want to modify it, you need to go back to Existing phase (for adequacy create a new view set to Existing and Show new) and modify the original...
