Editing a Mass

I created a mass, and used 'Roof By Face' to create a roof. Can that be edited, or is it better to go back into Conceptual Mass and do the editing? I can't see the mass in the project file anymore, even though Show Mass appears to be on.

Edited how?  Change thickness, material, add opening... sure.

Need to change the points along a spline. I'm still till trying to understand how points and splines are related, and if you can add points to an already created one.

Edit the mass, tab on the point and grad it X Y Z using the XYX symbol, the spline and the mass will update.  You can also select the mass and turn on XRay mode for an easier editing time if you want.  When done, reload the mass, select the roof and Update to Face.
