Earth material

HI!!!

 

which is the diference beetween  Earth material (by default) and create new  material

 

 

Can i set Earth material on a floor element or another element ? or only can we use on topography

Materials can be applied to all elements that have a material parameter field.

You can apply the same material to different objects. But note that when you modify the material, the material of all objects with the same name will change too. Also note that several objects can have multiple materials. For example a wall can have multiple layers where each layer can be a different material. You can copy materials or create new ones and apply that to the different elements.

Topography. Create a fresh material for floors.

@Sahay_R you mean I shouldn't apply Earth to my floors? Dang! I guess no turf on the inside of the house then. I guess I'll have to change it then. Thank goodness Revit Materials aren't object or function specific; meaning that you can apply any material to any object and it doesn't change the objects function. Smiley Wink
