Dynamically scaling families

Is it possible to make a family which scales dynamically to the scale of its view? For example, electrical symbols scale down when the scale of the view is changed from 1:50 to 1:100 etc.

Right now I have yes/no toggles for each symbol for every scale to show/hide the correct size. But is there a way to 'automate' this without manually toggling it each time?

Unfortunately no. That's not possible.
The symbols and text are controlled by its dimensions which stay fixed while changing scale.
You should prepare types for the required scales.

Revit has families that change according to the view scale. Have you had a look at those to see if you can adjust them suit your needs?
