Drawing not plotting to True Scale

Hello,

I'm a new user of Revit and am currently trying to plot my drawings to PDF. I've managed to do that with the settings as:

However, when measuring the scale using a scale ruler it doesn't seem to be correct? For example - my building lobby is 7.1m wide, but when taking the scale ruler to the plan the drawing plots out at around 9.5?

Does anyone know how to fix the issue, or perhaps anything I might be doing wrong?

Check your Adobe PDF scaling and see if it is 100%. If it is 100%, next check the printer you plotted out. Most often printer will scale to fit unless you tell it to scale 100%.

Thanks for the reply- my settings are the same as your screenshot.

I'm a student so currently don't have access to the plotter - I have emailed it to my professor and he seems to think everything has been plotted correctly.

I can only assume that I might be acting like an idiot, and when measuring the building scale on my computer monitor that the zoom could be affecting the scale. (even though the zoom is set to actual size.)

Then it isn't Revit issue because majority of the time when I plot, it is set to true scale. It has to come from printer because it can also override the scale output from PDF.
