Drafting Pattern in Family not Aligning with Element

I have a line based detail item family with filled regions in it representing the different patterns for fire ratings.

Problem is the pattern (drafting) does not stay aligned with the family.

In the project I use a filter to apply the same pattern to walls in plans and with those they do align.

The selected item is the family and everything else is a wall with the filter applied.

Is it possible to have a drafting pattern in a family rotate with the family?

why you don't use the line pattern or color or mix of them?

you know in my opinion the pattern (line or Fill)is not enough because if you have the short wall or other problem like scale the pattern go to wrong, so you can use the pattern and color with a thick line.

and drafting pattern is not so good, if i was i use the lines in the family or black Filled Region as the pattern.

We also tag our walls with a Letter Identifier that indicates the fire rating value.

We have no issues with showing the rating itself in walls, floors and roofs.

We just wanted a way to add the graphic at areas where a modeled element made from a family also needs to graphically show the rating.

It seems there is not way to have a drafting pattern in a family keep its alignment to the family if it is rotated in the project.
