Downloading Stereo Panoramas to Host on a Website

Hi guys,

I'm attempting to host 360° views on my WIX website.

Firstly i tried to use the direct link to the Stereo Panorama that was just placed among other things on the website, which initially worked, until i think it must have been blocked by Autodesk.

I have also tried using a 360° photo tool from WIX where you simply choose a 360 image, upload it, and the rest is automatically generated. However it seems that the ratio of the downloaded images from the cloud are incompatible with this and show up distorted.

Has anybody else acheived this? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

We usually send the client a link to a full screen version of the panorama from the share menu in the on the auto desk gallery. Now i dont know too much about web design, but can you not embed that link into an iframe on the webpage? Or have a hyperlink that opens it in a new tab?

Hi @Anonymous

Can you provide more details?

Please share the URL that you are trying to use - and make sure the path is correct.

Also, do you get an error message saying this is blocked by Autodesk? Please elaborate.

Here is a blog on how to embed 360 photos in your Wix website

Looking forward to your reply update.

Thanks,

You are able to embed the link in your website - however once uploaded/live on the website autodesk seems to block the link and it will not work

To host the images on my website i have had to -

1). Download the stereo panorama .zip file from the cloud

2). Using a program called Pano2VR, convert the one of the images from the .zip file into an Equirectangular image

3). Then i was able to host that image using the Wix Website 360 image feature
