Doors not showing!

I can't seem to figure out why my doors aren't showing in my floor plans. It is only only type of doors also, my normal 30 x 80 doors are visible in the plan but I can't see the double doors I placed. They only appear when I hover my mouse over them or click on them. I checked the VG settings and they're on the right level.. any ideas? In the pic below that is me hovering over it, if my mouse was elsewhere you wouldn't be able to see it. doors not showing w mouse.jpg

Do they show if you bump the Detail Level up to say medium or fine?

Open the Family and go to Plan View and then check the Visibility Settings for each of the Elements in the View.

The solution is amongst these 33 -- gauranteed:

One possibility is that your door is lower than the cutting plane so that the lines do not appear. Go to edit the family, select the lines and change the visibility setting.

Show only if Insance is CUT.PNG

Or This family may be configured not to appear at a level of detail like Coarse o medium, Go to edit the family select the lines change the visibility setting.

In my case, the door in the revit family cubicle is not showing. Turns out I hide generic model category. Meanwhile, the door in the cubicle family is GENERIC MODEL. So I had to change the DOOR Family Category into Doors (Basically I can change it into anything / just unhide generic model caegory. But there are stuffs i need to hide under gengeric model category).
