Door visibility issue

Hi All,

Im still quite new to revit, I have been following an online revit tutorial and I have completed the ground floor with no issues however now I am on the first floor and I cant seem to add doors the same way. I can add in 3D view and elevation view however when I am in plan view it wont show the door swing oritentation just the offset dimensions, ive attached the file if it helps.

Two problems - turn the door category on in the view (type VG to do this).  The second is the view range of your view - go to View Range and adjust the settings to appropriate heights.
