Door tag instant parameter

How can I created an instant parameter that display in ALL three, schedule, tag and the door property dialog, (similar to the door number).

The default "hardware group" parameter seems to work in integral number and only in schedule and door property dialog, NOT in the tag.

(((We used to leave this task to hardware consultant and duplicate his info back to the schedule, but it s a tiresome clerical process pending potential errors. We want to make a logical change for this)))

There is no "default" hardware group parameter, at least not in R26. There is a project parameter in the Imperial Template just called "Hardware". But that is just a project parameter, meaning it can be pulled up in both door families and door schedules, but not a door tag. 

If you want a tag-able parameter for hardware, you would need to create a shared parameter, just like for any other parameter you want to tag.

if i understand your questions correctly.... if you make a Shared Parameter. Then, in your model (not the door family), use the shared parameter to make a Project Parameter and assign it to the Door Category.  it will be assigned to ALL elements associated with the Door Category, and it can be used in Tags and Schedules.

Bonus question : how can I delete the previous parameter from the door (the
one does not work on all 3) ? I can remove it from the schedule, but it
still shows up in the door property dialog.

Manage Tab -> Project Parameters -> Find the parameter and delete it.
