Door symbols only in overview Plans
The orange and pink parameters control the color of the upper and lower lines (they were built as Line Based Details in order to be able to connect them to the width of the door). I have made different Family Types, and it is possible to select them from the list.
The green is another approach (I founded it easier in some cases, still testing advantages and disadvantages), in that case I use nested parameter, but same problem at the end. (I made a nested Tag with a text that was supposed to be visible, and it isn't but that is a different question).
In either case can I control how to make it visible just in one view but not in others. No subcategory, no way to filter them...

An easiest way is set them to only show in Coarse and set the views where you don't want to show them to Medium or Fine.
Another way is nest the detail family in a Generic Model family, associate the parameters, make the Generic shared. Then nest the Generic family in the door family and get rid of the Detail family that you have. Since the nested Generic family is shared, you can create view filter in Project by some criteria unique to that family.
