Hi,
I have a revit model that has the correct elevations and origin in revit, but when I export it as either an NWC or DWG, it comes in 2" above the origin point. I also exported the grid by itself from the model and that comes in at 0,0. However, when exporting the entire model, the model comes in 2" higher than where it should sit.
Hey
When your exporting to .NWC, are you setting the Coordinates to the correct setting? If you are using Shared coordinates within your project you need to set this to "Shared" otherwise it will be "project internal".
Similar scenario with .DWG exports. If you go to "File" > Export > Scroll down to "Options" > "Export Setup DWG/DXF" > "Units & Coordinates" tab > Select the correct coordinate system. Then when you export to DWG it should be correct
thanks for the response. I am using project internal for this specific project. The issue is not alignment or rotation, it is elevation. i exported the grid out of revit which comes in at 0,0,0. When I export the rest of the model, it comes in at 0,0,2".
@cagray9JUWJ what is your project internal set at in .NWC? Have you checked to make sure its set to 0 as well? The grids may have set at 0 as they are annotative elements.
