Door opening width cannot be edited

I edited a door family to try to turn the originally closed door to be opened. I rotated and moved the glass panel to be the open position. But after load family into project, the glass door panels are not located in both sides of the door frame but in the middle.

Closed.PNG

Edit family.PNG

Broken.PNG

By the way, can I also make it to be similar to other defaut standard doors which I can change the width by selection instead of modifying one by one by each width?

Thanks very much!

You need to lock the door panels to the reference planes (align then constrain the lock).

You can create a dimension parameter for the door panel that is the width of the door / 2, and link this parameter to the door panel.

Accepted solution

I edited the workplan for the panels accordingly and added a parameter for the width...try the attached.

I can see you have set a new parameter on the panel width, but I cannot figure out what you have done on the work plane to make the door panels stick to the frame....😅

I added the panel width parameter, then for the formula it is Width/2
