Door Elevation Swing Lines

Hi there!

I have a door that shows its swing line even though it is located behind a wall. My expectation is that the door and all its swing lines should disappear behind the wall!

you can avoid such a situation if you introduce a Visibility parameter (boolean) for the Symbolic Lines in Door Family.

Do you have any floor clearance geometry in the door family that still crossed by the view clipping depth?

I would change the elevation swing from Symbolic line to model line.

Using model lines for elevation swings is not a bad idea, especially if you have doors in angled walls.

For the symbolic lines:

• Untick the checkbox for [Draw in Foreground]
• make sure they are drawn in the right workplane.

Model Line?  I think that's exactly what is causing the issue in the first place. I'm betting there's a misplaced model line place in front of the door in the Family. That Model Line is within the cut plane of the Project View, which is causing the Swing Line to be visible, even those the door geometry is obscured by a wall.
